We're an Australian company building a comprehensive database of hospitality businesses (cafes, restaurants, bars, pubs) across Melbourne and eventually all of Australia.

This is not a basic VA role.
We've already scraped 2,000+ records ourselves using ChatGPT with structured prompting.
We need someone who can do this at scale, continuously, and bring tools and methods we haven't thought of.

What You'll Do
- We give you a suburb and business type (e.g. "Restaurants in Richmond, Melbourne")
- You find every matching business and build a complete record using our database template
- You continuously grow, clean, and enrich the database
- You submit completed data in chunks to a shared folder as you go
- You hit minimum weekly/monthly growth targets

Data Points Per Business

Required (every record):
- Business Name
- Address, Suburb, Postcode
- Phone
- Estimated Monthly Revenue

Enrichment (as many as possible):
- Owner/Decision-Maker: Name, Phone, Email
- Business ABN, Email, Website
- POS system in use
- Table reservations platform
- QR ordering platform
- Online ordering platform
- Any other relevant business intelligence

The more enrichment the better. We don't expect every field on every record, but we DO expect more than basic Google Maps scraping. Owner details are hard - even just a name is a win.

Volume Expectations
We did 2,000 records in a couple of days ourselves. You should be faster and better.

- Minimum 200 enriched records per day
- 1,000+ per week
- 4,000+ per month

How You'll Work
- We assign target suburbs and business types
- You submit data in chunks to a shared folder - we see progress in real-time
- You'll use our database template (provided)

What We're Looking For
- Expert-level AI prompting (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) for structured data extraction
- Experience with web scraping tools (Apify, Octoparse, Browse AI, or similar)
- Familiar with Australian business data sources (ABN Lookup, ASIC)
- Tech stack detection tools (BuiltWith, Wappalyzer)
- Social media and directory research (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Self-directed - we give targets, you deliver without hand-holding
- **Bonus:** You bring tools and techniques we haven't seen. We want to learn from you.

This is an ongoing role.
2-week paid trial, then long-term for the right person.

Complete 50 hospitality businesses in Fitzroy, Melbourne (postcode 3065).

Submit the completed spreadsheet with your proposal.

- POS Systems: Lightspeed, Square, Kounta (Lightspeed K), Revel, Impos, H&L, Abacus, Bepoz
- Payment Terminals: Tyro, Zeller, Square Terminal, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ
