We are looking for a developer to automate our digital code validation process in WooCommerce.

Currently, after an order is paid, an employee manually takes the code, enters it on an external public balance checker website, verifies that the code works and has the correct balance, and then sends it to the customer.

We want to automate this entire process.

Important: we do not have API access to the balance checkers, so the validation will likely need to be done through browser automation. There are multiple public balance checker websites available that can potentially be used.

Required flow:
- Paid WooCommerce order
- Automatically retrieve/reserve the code
- Check the code on an external balance checker
- Read and verify the balance/result
- If valid: complete the order and send the code
- If invalid: try another code or flag it
- If an error occurs: send the order to manual review

Preferred experience:
- WooCommerce / WordPress
- Playwright or similar browser automation
- Python or Node.js
- Browser sessions/proxies
- Reliable automation, retries and logging

This is our current idea, but if you have a better, more reliable or more scalable approach, we are open to discussing and implementing your solution.

Please mention if you have experience building similar automation systems without API access.

Requirements
- Write high-quality, clean code if necessary
- At least 5+ years of experience
- Work as a freelancer or with a small team (No large agencies)
- Work independently (no project managers or task delegation)
- Meet deadlines and follow our schedule
- Honor commitments and communicate clearly about any issues
